During this workshop you will learn how to create several colours and tones from one natural dye by using mineral modifiers such as iron, copper and weak ammonia solutions. 
You will dye 100g skein the main dye colour then 4 mini skeins with the colour adjusted with modifiers. 
All materials will be provided during the session, and you will also get a knit pattern of something to make with your skeins. 
Please bring and apron or wear old clothes, and a bag to carry home your wet yarn which you will dry at home. 
Caroline is an experienced natural dyer and she has taught regularly at Stitch Fest and Fibre Quest for the last few years.
