Fibre Quest
A yarn & fibre show
with a twist....

Some of the best blade shearers in
the Northern Hemisphere will be
seen doing their job at Fibre Quest
in March
An exciting new show in collaboration with the already established Fernhill Farm Open Day and Blade Shearing Tournament held at this wonderful certified regenerative eco farm on the Mendip Hills. Read all the vital info about the show location on the SHOW INFO PAGE HERE
We are bringing our industry back to the farm...welcoming exhibitors with natural, low-impact plant & animal fibres, natural dyes, earthy crafts, shearing skills, sheep dog training and more.
There will be a programme of traditional textile skills workshops held over the weekend and a series of talks to inspire and educate. CHECK OUT OUR TALK TIMETABLE HERE!
You can observe some of the top blade shearers in the land do their job and see sheepdog handling close at hand.
The event will showcase the use of natural fibres alongside the wool harvesting industry with a key focus on holistic agriculture - as well as talks and workshops focussed on natural fibres of different types, we will be discussing how to rehabilitate the land with animals grazing in rotation, conserving soils and enhancing biodiversity whilst harvesting replenishing resources that can benefit water, plant and mineral cycles.
There will be a Fibre Quest shuttle bus from and to Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Bus Station. Click here to book the bus!

There's loads on offer for the whole family at Fibre Quest!
