Make a hare or reindeer by needlefelting with wool and using a pipe-cleaner armature. The use of an armature means the finished character can be posed or modelled to cling on to a bottle, glass or even your Christmas tree. Finished model around 15cm. This class is suitable for those with no needlefelting experience or those wanting to try a different technique.   
All tools and materials are provided for the course, so just bring yourself, enthusiasm and the readiness to have a fun time.  Further supplies of materials and felting tools will be available to purchase for those wishing to continue needlefelting. 
 
Michelle, known to the felting world as ‘Furzie’, has been needlefelting for over ten years and specializes in sculptures with character and humour.  Her quirky sculptures and more realistic commissions have sold all over the world. She runs regular classes from the Furzie Workshop near Taunton in South Somerset and other venues around the country and has taught over 2,000 people. She is eagerly awaiting the publication of her first book on the subject.
