Learn to spin using a top whorl drop spindle. Angela will take you through the basics of spinning, from choosing your wool, how to start your spinning, drafting your wool and turning it into a plied yarn. 
Participants will receive a hand turned spindle to keep with instructions and fibres so you can keep practising at home. 
 
Initially a feltmaker, Angela Barrow has been a partner in Adelaide Walker for ten years and is now a committed spinner and weaver.  She loves working with British Wool and sharing her enthusiasm for fibre crafts
