Sunday 5th November 2.30 - 4.00pm
If you're sick of spending hours and hours knitting what turns out to be an ill-fitting garment, then this is the workshop for you. Banish baggy backs. Get rid of the boob tent. Lift your arms with confidence. We're going to learn how to adjust knitting patterns so they've got enough space for your boobs without drowning you everywhere else.
In this 90-minute workshop we'll talk about:
Standard size charts, and what they mean for standard fits
The key measurements you need to get the right fit for you
How to work out increase and decrease rates
Different ways to make adjustments - and their pros and cons
How to adjust different types of top
This workshop is aimed at competent knitters who want to learn more about fit. Participants should come ready with fit questions, a measuring tape, and optional needles and yarn of any size to practice German short rows.
