  • Is there parking at Stitch Fest by theSea?
    We recommend parking in the Sovereign Shopping Centre car park, situiated behind the Winter Gardens. Enter via st. Margaret's Terrace. Parking is payable on exit via card or cash.
  • Can I get to the show by public transport?
    If you are coming from further afield, there is a train station just over half a mile from the show. Travelling by train is the fastest, easiest and greenest way to get to Weston-super-Mare from the other UK destinations. CrossCountry and Great Western Railway (GWR) services frequently run to Weston-super-Mare throughout the day. Buses - The number 7 bus stops outside the show. See www.travelwest.info for more info
  • What is accessibility like for visitors with limited mobility?
    There is level access to the wide carpeted balcony/gallery of the event from the street. From the gallery of the ballroom, there is a lift to bring visitors down to the Ballroom floor. For those that do not need the lift, there are also 8 steps with hand rails at either end .
  • Where are the toilets?
    There are toilets at the venue at both ends of the building.
  • How can I pay for my ticket, purchases, coffee etc ?
    You can buy tickets in advance via the website , and on the day at the door by cash or card. Most exhibitors can take card payments, but take a bit of cash just in case. The café can take either method of payment too.
  • Are food, drinks and refreshments available at the show?
    There are two cafes serving hot and cold drinks along with delicious cakes, meals and light snacks all day. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please let the café staff know.
  • What are the workshops like?
    There are a variety of workshops on both days that you can book to do. These will take place on the platform in the show hall. The timetable will be released in March. We offer a different range of topics and tutors so there’s something for everyone. Workshops at this show are 1.5hrs maximum. Previous workshop attendees at our other shows have said that the workshops are interesting, informative and fun.
