Following a fabulous first year at Weston-super-Mare, we’re pleased to welcome back a carefully selected mix of makers, indie businesses, and artisan producers from across the UK fibre arts community for our 2026 show. Each exhibitor brings their own approach to textile art and craft, offering visitors plenty to discover throughout the Winter Gardens Pavilion.

Nicola's crochet and knitting designs will be on sale, in addition to some small bits and bobs to facilitate (and enable!) your crafting. Samples of the patterns will also be on display to showcase the designs. Patterns include a range of wearables, homewares, and accessories, and some are available with yarn as a pattern pack. Nicola is always happy to discuss and give more information on all patterns.

Blacklands Alpacas in Somerset breed their own alpacas for the fleece which is used for their raw fleece, tops, pure alpaca yarn, kits and knitted, crocheted and woven products. Most is in natural colours although a little is hand dyed.

For the past 16 years Deborah  has been invited to the Chinese Spring Festival at Exeter University to teach and display Chinese Knotting. Also she spent 2 years at Selfridges London making one off pieces for the Chinese New Year. Deborah creates one off unique pieces of jewellery and other items that are knotted using all types of cord /yarn for the past 16 years. The items use the techniques of Oriental knotting: Chinese Knotting, Japanese Kumihimo, Korean Maeduep  with European influences. The Dragon Knot Studio also creates Micro-Macrame items that have brought this traditional technique into the modern era and can be found at Tavistock market every Wednesday.

Jillian Morris Textile Designs

Jillian sells individually hand-dyed yarns, mostly British wools, perfect for making smaller items, or mixing with solid colours in a larger garment.

She also sells handwoven items, including scarves and some textile art, plus some fibres, accessories and kits.

Peregrine Sisters is a small family business working with luxury fibres, such as Angora, alpaca, mohair, silk, cashmere, and camel. They hand-spin a range of different yarns, all the way from specialty lace weight for heirloom works, mid-range yarns for everyday garments, through to chunky and textured yarns for tapestry weaving and other crafts. Fine hand-woven scarves, heavy rugs, and comfortable seat pads are also available. There’s also a variety of colours of carded alpaca batts and roving.

Rosie hand paints ethically sourced, luxury but affordable yarns. The inspiration for my colourways come from the countryside and coastline surrounding her home in Somerset.

To complement her yarns she designs patterns and these are available both in printed form and online. Some of the popular ones have been made into kits, and she also has more patterns in the pipeline for 2026. She brings a large selection of gifts for both knitting and crochet, including stitch markers, needle keeps and the popular gift a balls, which are filled with gifts. Rosie is constantly updating her stock and yarn bases ensuring returning customers always find something new. Each year she also dyes a charity yarn raising much needed funds for Marie Curie UK.
