SUNDAY 10.30-1.30PM
In this workshop you will make a beautiful scarf using soft merino wool embellished with silk hankies and/or bamboo fibres to create a wonderful textured surface.
 Your scarf is made using natural colour materials so it will go with any outfit. 
We will use the w et felting process which involves laying out, rubbing with a ceramic palm washboard, rolling, and fulling.
All materials are provided and also the felting equipment needed.
 Full instructions will be given throughout the process so that even if you have never felted before you can achieve a successful result
 
City and Guilds and Fibre Crafts qualified, Carolyn is a very experienced art teacher and workshop tutor. She is a member of Creative South West group of Textile Artists and Designer Makers, Make South West’s Green Maker Initiative, and the International Felt Makers Association.
She exhibits and sells her work throughout the South West
 
Please bring: A pair of disposable gloves, an old bath towel to cover the table.
A notebook / smartphone to record the process.
