SATURDAY 10.30-12.30pm

Join Natasha to create a beautiful wet felted flower to use as a brooch or corsage or for display at home.  Suitable for beginners as well as those with felting experience looking to try a new technique, this workshop will cover the basics of wet felting with wool tops fibre and show you how to use a flat resist to create a three-dimensional felted form.  You’ll learn how to create a stem and felt it inside your flower petals, as well as how to use silk fibres to embellish your flower and then shape it into a realistic form which will hold its shape.  Finally, you’ll sew a brooch pin to the reverse so that you can wear your flower home as a beautiful corsage. All materials and equipment will be provided.
