SATURDAY 3.00-4.30pm

In this class, sock knitters will discover that you don't have to immediately decide where and when to turn the heel of a sock. Perfect for when you aren't in the mood to do anything complicated right now and want to just keep knitting or don't want to spoil the look of a self patterning yarn or don't know the sock recipient's foot size. Participants will be shown a technique for adding an afterthought heel, and descriptions of other methods will be given.

Participants need to bring a tube of 20 rows of stocking stitch, knitted with sock yarn on usual needle size. Bring these needles and small amounts of contrasting sock yarn to create the heel.
