Tracey is a felt and textile artist specialising in creating unique handcrafted wearables, gifts, felted pictorial art and items for the home, using various embroidery and felting techniques in her work, she will often combine these techniques to achieve a very individual piece of art.

Her journey with textiles began as a teenager with embroidery, then later in the 90’s she gained a City and Guilds in Creative Embroidery and Textiles and then more recently she has studied at Bicton college where she achieved level 3 in Fibrecraft.

During her journey she has developed her skills in fabric dyeing and printing, hand and machine embroidery and felting techniques, always expanding the boundaries of her work.

In more recent years she has been approached to teach groups, give talks and lead workshops, which she finds very fulfilling.

She has a strong desire to pass on her knowledge to others and is very enthusiastic about teaching the next generation.
