SATURDAY 6th NOVEMBER, 12.45-2.15pm
The Winning Post Room, Newton Abbot Racecourse
Learn the basic techniques you need for making Amigurumi and start crocheting your own cute Little Polar Bear. You will learn how to work in the round, shaping using increases and invisible decreases, tips for sewing pieces together, embroidering features and following an Amigurumi pattern.
Please note you must be able to confidently crochet a chain and work basic crochet stitches, particularly double crochet. This class is not suitable for complete beginners.
Yarn, toy stuffing and pattern provided. You must bring some other supplies – please see list below.
Crochet hooks. Bring a range of sizes from 3mm up to 5mm. You will most likely be using a 3.5mm or 4mm hook but this will depend on your own tension.
Locking stitch markers (2 or 3 will be fine)
Small pair of scissors
Chenille needle with eye large enough to fit 4ply yarn. I will have some available to borrow if you don’t have one
