In this class you will learn about the beauty and history of natural dyes, the colours they give, how to dye wool and achieve different dye effects. The class will include a practical session. You will naturally dye a skein of luxury yarn to take home with you for your next project.

Caroline is an enthusiastic and experienced natural dyer. She has taught natural dyeing for the past three years in a variety of ways, including for Falmouth University. She has written magazine articles and is currently writing a book about natural dyes.

Bring an apron or old clothes in case you get splashed. You may also want a notebook and pen. All materials will be provided.
