SATURDAY 10.30-12.30

In this class you will make a circular snood. Wool is a naturally replenishing fibre and offers benefits to the health of the human skin and is a fantastic craft therapy resource. The snood you will make in this class is a safe working garment suited even to those who work outdoors due to its versatility, warmth and practical application when made on an oversized French knitting loom using Shetland Lopi yarn. It makes a great headband, cowl or scarf and you don’t need any experience to go home with a finished garment.
All materials will be supplied.

Jen and Andy own Fernhill Farm on the Mendip Hills in Somerset running 3000 sheep, an Aberdeen Angus cattle herd, woodland pigs and a kitchen garden. They are both teachers and open their farm for educational courses and events, like Fibre Quest.
