The Stitch Fest Fleece Sale

New this year at Stitch Fest will be Stitch Fest Fleece Sale - a great place to pick up a raw fleece for your crafting. You will find the fleece sale between the car park and the show entrance. Look out for the pink banner!

This sale will show fleeces of all shapes, sizes, colours and breeds  to choose from supplied by our exhibitors and local farmers. They will be simply displayed and then supplied in cloth or jute bags and clearly and easily labelled with the information you need, so you can make an easy choice.

Hand sanitiser will be on hand for you to clean your hands after having the required squidge and you can leave your fleece once you have paid for it and come back and collect it on your way home.

We can accept payments by cash in the Fleece Sale, but if you would like to pay by card, the Fleece Sale will give you a ticket to pay at the front desk.

We'll have some info boards in the fleece sale to help as well.

Note: entry to the fleece sale does not require a ticket to the show.

Got Fleeces for sale?

You don't need to be an exhibitor. Anyone with a good fleece to sell can sell in the fleece sale.

1.) Print off a sheet of 4 tickets which you can download here - please use card not paper so it will not easily get lost. We will have some tickets available for you to fill in on the day, but this is time consuming, so please try and do this in advance. We cannot be responsible for lost tickets.

2) Fill in a ticket for each fleece and when you price it, please note we will take 25% to cover the running of the fleece sale, so allow for this in your price.

3) Put the fleece in a cloth or jute bag and affix  the label with string or rubber bag to the bag handles.

4) Drop the fleeces in to the fleece sale and register them with our staff.

Drop off time for the sale is Saturday 8am onwards. The fleece sale opens at 9am.

5) At the end of the show, between Sunday 4-6pm please collect any money and unsold fleeces. If you don't collect we will send the money to you by bank transfer on receipt of an invoice (we will email you about this) and uncollected fleeces will be composted.
